The SNA (Société Nationale de l'Acadie) is a federation of the provincial associations representing Acadians in the four Atlantic Provinces and of the four Francophone youth associations in Atlantic Canada. The SNA also has five associate members from France, Québec, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Louisiana and the Magdalen Islands.

National Atlantic Scene: The SNA advocates for issues affecting the Atlantic Provinces, some of which are also national or even international in scope.

Acadia-Québec Agreement: For a number of years Acadia has had a close relationship with Québec. In 2001, this was crowned by a cooperation agreement between the SNA and the Government of Québec to foster solidarity and collaboration between the people of Acadia and of Québec.

International Scene: Since 1968, the SNA has been turned the outside world and represented Acadia in the international Francophonie. The SNA is a partner in official cooperation agreements with France and with the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and the Province of Hainaut in Belgium.

International Francophonie: Besides participating in Francophone Summits for a number of years as part of the delegation accompanying the Government of Canada, the SNA was named an advisory international non-governmental organization (INGO) to the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie in July 2005.

CRIA (Centre de ressources international et acadien) is a one-stop online source for information on the structures and modes of operation of the various market networks making up the Acadian and European cultural industries. CRIA is a project of SPAASI (Stratégie de promotion des artistes acadiens sur la scène internationale) and the SNA (Société Nationale de l'Acadie).
